Katsu

Katsu is a flattened chicken fillet in a breadcrumb coating, served with a homemade katsu sauce, and ours is made with free range chicken. Bake it in a hot oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or shallow fry it until golden on both sides and cooked through. Slice it and serve it over rice with the sauce, some shredded cabbage and a few pickles, or in a bun as a katsu burger.
